New season. New collection. New design. New players.
The biggest signing of the summer of 2024 must have been Real Madrid’s signing of Kylien Mbappe on a free transfer. Mbappe got the number 9. A number which has recently been occupied by Kareem Benzema but since his departure been sitting idly. The idea is probably to imitate the Ronaldo move where Cristiano started with number 9 for his first season only to move on his preferred number 7 for season number 2. Mbappe will most likely be getting either the 10 which he wears for France or the 7 he used to wear for PSG.
The jersey is white with black contrast and from adidas. The name and number kit is black with white logo and from Avery Dennison.
A minimalistic design without too much noise.
The sponsor logo to the left arm sleeve is a novelty. Real Madrid typically did not have that in the past. And the UCL 15 BoH + UEFA foundation badge to the left arm sleeve are in place as well.
