The Argentinian designer Ignacio Deus has designed this badge which incorporates different aspects of past and present.
The point of departure is the most famous photography of the 20th century Guerrillero Heroico by Alberto Korda.
The Cuban revolutionary hero was in reality an Argentinian doctor who for unknown reasons ended up on Cuba to join forced with Fidel Castro in the Cuban Revolution.

The grid outline is homenage to the Argentinian starchitect Cesar Pelli who creates beautiful skyscrapers with some spectacular grid facades.
